We take your privacy seriously. That’s why we store your data using trusted, certified cloud providers and ensure it’s protected with industry-leading security standards.
Your data is securely stored on Google Cloud Platform in services certified to leading international security and privacy standards, including ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3. We process customer data in two regions: the United States for customers in North and South America, and Europe (the Netherlands and Belgium) for customers in all other regions. We also process limited data centrally in the United States for all customers:
All teacher and student identifiable information is protected with encryption at rest, in transit, and through an additional encryption layer built into our platform.
important:
No data from the microphone (via the Sound level widget) or the camera (via the Webcam widget) is being stored on our servers. It is only recorded locally, in the browser that is used to create the display.
When a Pro trial expires, an account will automatically be downgraded to the Basic version. If your account has been downgraded to a Basic version, you will (temporarily) lose access to the data. Once you upgrade to a Pro plan, your screens and other data will be available again. In any case, the data will only be deleted 12 months after the termination of a trial period or subscription.
If you have a Basic or Pro account, you can delete your account on the Account page. If you are an Owner of an Organization account, we can assist you with deleting your account. Contact us here.
