Payment options

Last updated:

Since teachers based all over the world use Classroomscreen, there will be different payment options available to you depending on where you live.

tip:

If your school is interested in an Organization account (with five or more licenses), please view your payment options here.

How can I pay for a individual Pro subscription?

You can see our plans and easily purchase a subscription by credit or debit card on the pricing page. Once you choose a 'Pro' or 'Organization' account and your payment is processed, your account will be automatically upgraded.

Here is a quick summary of how you can pay depending on where you live.

If you live in the US or Canada, you can pay through our external payment provider, Stripe. Stripe accepts Visa, Mastercard, and other types of payment cards. If you have any issues using your credit card or wish to use another payment method, please contact us for support.

important:

For Canadian residents, the subscription is billed in USD but converted to CAD based on current exchange rates. If you live in Saskatchewan, we can offer checkout via Paddle.

Other countries

If you live in a country we haven't specified, you will be directed to the correct payment platform automatically through our upgrade page. You will most likely be using Paddle, which provides all customer service inquiries, handles returns, and allows you to pay via credit or debit card, PayPal, and Apple Pay.

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all of our orders outside the USA, EU, Norway, UK, Australia, Canada (except the state of Saskatchewan), Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia, Japan, and Iceland. For other countries, it serves as an additional purchase method - to get in touch with Paddle, click here.

What currency can I pay with?

All EU customers pay in euros. Those in the UK can pay in GBP, and all other customers pay in USD, although the amount will be it is converted to local currency based on current exchange rates.

What can I do if my credit card is not accepted?

If your credit card is not accepted, you will be notified with a declined code. Via Stripe, you can view the corresponding code meaning and determine how to resolve the issue. Of course, you can always contact us, and we will be happy to help.

We offer some other handy options below!

  1. Log in with your Classroomscreen account.
  2. Enable the option to upgrade with Paddle by clicking the following link (or copy/paste this link into your browser - https://classroomscreen.com/app/checkout-pro-paddle).
  3. Fill in your billing details and click 'Proceed to checkout'.

note:

The link above can only be used for Pro (not Organization) checkout.

What about taxes?

When you check out, for the correct calculation of taxes, we need to know which country you are a resident of. If you would like to include other billing details during checkout, click on '+ Add more invoice information'. The total price (incl. VAT and/or sales tax) is then calculated ahead of payment.

What if I am not ready to pay yet?

If you aren't ready to purchase Pro just yet, start with a trial; you don't have to give any credit card details to sign up!

Paying by bank or wire transfer

This option is only available when purchasing an Organization account (with five or more licenses). Please request a quote if you wish to use this method.

important:

We do not accept checks, as Dutch banks cannot process them, but we may be able to offer an alternative solution - please mention your needs when reaching out in case we can help.

Getting your receipt

You can access a copy of your invoice and receipt through your Dashboard. Depending on how you have paid (either via Stripe or Paddle), you will follow a different path - please see below for instructions to be redirected to the relevant payment provider:

  1. Go to the Subscription page.
  2. Choose 'Manage subscriptions & payments'.
  3. You will be redirected to the Stripe page.
  4. You will see the option to view and download your invoice and receipt.

How secure is my payment?

We protect your credit card information and the transmission of your information using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL is a secure communication protocol that blocks the possibility of a third party breaching the communication or your payment information. We do not have access to your credit card information - all payment details are handled by our payment providers, Stripe and Paddle, to maximize security.
