You can create a new screen by clicking on the purple '+' button and then open it by clicking on the thumbnail image. The image shows a schematic picture of the background chosen for that screen. Screens are grouped into collections where you can sort, duplicate, delete, and rename them.
important:
If you do not have an account or if you have a Basic account, you will see the screens that you've created in that session; however, they will not be saved.
The screen options allow you to change the name of a screen, create a duplicate of a screen, and delete a screen. You can sort your screens by clicking on them and dragging them around. It is also possible to move a screen from one collection to another collection.
You can create a new collection by pressing the '+ Add collection' button. There are many ways to structure your screens within a collection, but a common way is to create one collection for each day and store all your screens for that day in that collection.
When you are in a screen, you can easily move from one screen to another (within the same collection) using the navigation arrows in the bottom-right-hand corner. Also, if you choose to 'Pin' a widget, aka 'Show in all screens', it will be visible in the same location on all screens within that collection.
You will see the 'Options' button in the top right corner of a collection.
By clicking on that button, you can:
Using the arrows, you can move a collection up or down in your workspace.
Click on the 'Settings' page to adjust some preferences like the color of your dashboard, the ability to enable warnings before deleting a screen or collection, and also the language of the widget bar and symbols.
Workspaces are like folders where you can store related collections of screens. Many teachers use them to group lessons according to grade level or subject.
note:
You will see only one workspace on the left side of the dashboard when using Classroomscreen with no account or a Basic account.
If you have a Pro account, you can create additional workspaces by pressing '+ Add workspace'.
After entering a workspace name, you see a new empty workspace appear. At the top right of the dashboard, you see a button to open the 'Workspace settings'. Here you can rename or delete a workspace.
To reorganize your list of workspaces, hover over the titles under the 'My workspaces' section near the top left of your dashboard. Then you can click and drag on the six dots that appear to move them up and down in the list.
