Now everyone is settled back into their school routine, it's already time to get decorating for Halloween! Our creative team has thrown themselves into the task of creating some spooky variations of popular templates, as well as sharing their top tips for decorating for this season.
As the winter nights draw in and the novelty of the new school year wears off, getting out of bed and excited for school can become increasingly difficult without something fun to look forward to! With the festive season still a ways away, Halloween is a great cultural moment to celebrate that unites the class and brings some magic to the everyday.
While more elaborate celebrations can be time-consuming and costly, there are many ways to bring the spooky spirit into your classroom without breaking the bank or your workload!
If you've already made all the screens you use daily; don't fret - you can still decorate with just one simple change! Head to the background widget and select a background image from our curated Halloween category.
With adding a simple background, your screen already feels spookier! Want to take it up a notch?
Once you've got your background in place, it's important to make sure your widgets match and everything is still visible (especially if you've got transparent text widgets). To change all your widgets at once, drag your mouse across the screen to select all your widgets then head to the settings. You can either preselect an existing color theme (we recommend black and yellow!) or create your own to really customize your display.

If you are looking for a whole new screen deck for the season, we've got that covered too. We worked with Sowmya, a 3rd grade teacher in Kentucky, to create a themed screen deck called 'Let's get Animated!'. In this screen deck, there are 4 screens for upcoming seasons with unique animated backgrounds.
