Let's add some fun content!

Teachers everywhere are looking for simple ways to make lessons more engaging. One of the easiest upgrades is adding music and audiobooks directly into your Classroomscreen or classroom slides. Background playlists can set the right mood, while audiobooks and podcasts support literacy and listening skills.

Youtube videos

YouTube is a goldmine for classroom audio whether it’s lo-fi beats, nature sounds, or music history clips. Our Video widget removes all the adverts, so you can play any video without worrying about interruptions.

How to add Youtube videos:

  1. Open Youtube and copy the URL you wish to add to your screen.
  2. Open the Video widget and paste the URL into the empty box.
  3. Resize your video to fit your needs.

Spotify playlists

Spotify makes it easy to curate playlists for any classroom mood; calming background music, energizing transition tracks, or thematic playlists tied to your lesson.

How to add Spotify songs:

  1. Open & log in to Spotify in your browser.
  2. Find your playlist or album and click the three dots (⋯) → Share → Embed.
  3. Copy the HTML embed code.
  4. Open the Embed widget in Classroomscreen and paste the code.
  5. Resize the widget to fit your layout.

Apple Music

If you’re in the Apple ecosystem, Apple Music works seamlessly for classroom routines like morning entry or reading time.

How to add Apple Music playlists:

  1. Open Apple Music in your browser.
  2. Go to your chosen playlist.
  3. Click the three dots (⋯) → Share → Copy Embed Code.
  4. Paste the code into the Embed widget.
  5. Adjust the size so playback controls are visible.

Audiobooks

Embedding audiobooks is more difficult, as many popular platforms like Audible have copyright restrictions which make sharing books across platforms impossible. However, there is a free alternative for you to try.

Adding audiobooks from LearnOutLoud.com:

  1. Choose your free book from LearnOutLoud.
  2. Copy the URL and generate an iframe through https://www.iframe-generator.com
  3. Copy the iframe code into our Embed widget.

Adding audio clips from Soundcloud:

  1. Choose your audio from Soundcloud,
  2. Click the ‘Share’ icon  → Embed → Copy embed code.
  3. Copy the iframe code into our Embed widget.

tip:

Prefer to use other tools like Audible? Add a link to the book through a Hyperlink widget!
