About this template

This interactive sight word game combines both letters and full Dolch sight words using the Randomizer widget. It’s perfect for building phonemic awareness, decoding skills, and vocabulary fluency - especially for kindergarten, early elementary, or ESL learners.

How it works

The first screen contains a randomizer packed with letter sounds, so your students can practice sound out important phonic groups. The second screen is a step up to full sight words.

tip:

Do you want to use different words? Head to Dolch Sight Words to find appropriate ones for your grade level.

The class must sound it out (if it’s a letter), or read the word aloud correctly (if it’s a full sight word). If they get it right, they get a point. If they miss or struggle, the teacher gets a point. The first to 15 wins!
