About this template

Designed for intermediate ESL learners, this activity strengthens speaking fluency, supports vocabulary development, and encourages structured responses using full sentences and reasoning.

How it works

Select a student using the dark Randomizer, then that student (or you) clicks the spinner to reveal a topic (e.g., “playing computer games”).

They use the sentence frame:
“I think that [topic] is [adjective].”

The student must include at least one word from the positive or negative support list.

tip:

Encourage full sentences and reasons for their opinion.

Continue with other students for individual practice or turn it into a class discussion.
