GoNoodle: Energize your class with brain breaks
Incorporating physical activity into the learning process is crucial for student well-being and engagement. GoNoodle is the go-to tool for quick and fun brain breaks, helping students reenergize and refocus. With sing-a-longs in multiple languages (this is our favorite), anxiety relieving stretches and tours with Charlie Brown, there is something for everyone!
Tip: GoNoodle also has a YouTube page; the videos on YouTube can be embedded directly into Classroomscreen without showing ads. Not sure how to Embed videos? Learn how to use the Video widget with our tutorial template.
Edpuzzle: Enhance learning with interactive videos
Edpuzzle revolutionizes the way teachers use videos in the classroom. With Edpuzzle, educators can add questions and interactive elements to videos, ensuring students remain engaged and comprehend the content thoroughly. This tool provides valuable insights into student progress, making it an essential asset for personalized learning.
Embed the Edpuzzle video by clicking on "Share preview" in your Edpuzzle account. Then, paste the iframe code into the Embed widget. Unfortunately, you cannot save answers when the quiz is embedded so if you want to keep the scores, you'll need to conduct the quiz on the website directly. But if this is not a concern for you, then fire away!
Kahoot: Create a classic virtual quiz
Kahoot has been a classroom favorite for years, and for good reason. Turn any lesson into a quiz show by creating Kahoot games with questions related to your curriculum. Imagine a history quiz where students compete to answer questions about different time periods. The excitement builds as the leaderboard updates in real-time, making learning a thrilling experience.
Blooket: Enjoy interactive tests
Looking for something a little different? Blooket takes the traditional quiz format and adds a gamified twist. Create sets of questions, set the game mode, and let the competition begin. Blooket introduces variations like Tower Defense and Snake to keep students on their toes. In Tower Defense, correct answers power up a virtual character defending against incoming challenges. Blooket turns quizzes into immersive adventures that captivate students' attention - pop quizzes just became fun!
Quizalize: Tailor your learning experiences
Do you have lots of students at different knowledge levels? Quizalize allows you to create quizzes that adapt to students' performance. As they answer questions, it adjusts the difficulty level to provide a customized learning experience. This adaptability ensures that every student is appropriately challenged, maintaining engagement throughout the quiz as well as giving you direct feedback on student knowledge.
Let's get going!
From multimedia collaboration to gamified learning, these tools cater to various aspects of modern teaching, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning experience for both educators and students alike.
